Assistant Events Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in driving event and conference sales to achieve revenue objectives and exceed targets
- Handle client inquiries, prepare tailored proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to secure bookings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and event organizers
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure flawless execution of events and high levels of guest satisfaction
- Support the creation and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and business development plans
- Prepare regular sales performance reports, track KPIs, and identify new market opportunities
- Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote facilities and services
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, leads, and bookings in the CRM or sales management system
**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**:
- **Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field**:
- **Minimum 1-2 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in conferences and events**:
- **Experience in Assistant Manager roles or similar positions within hotel event sales**:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems such as Opera/Sales & Catering or similar
- **Locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar visa and QID**
