Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our automotive operations for an exclusive Chinese

automotive brand in Qatar and the GCC region. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing

market presence, obtaining regulatory approvals, and building a successful dealership network.

Essential Qualifications

Industry Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in automotive sales, distribution, or dealership management

Regional Expertise: Proven experience with GCC market regulations and business practices

Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory)

Trade Experience: Import/export expertise with customs and logistics knowledge

Government Relations: Experience with regulatory bodies and business licensing

Leadership: Strong team building and management capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Obtain all necessary permits from Qatar's Ministry of Commerce and Industry

Market Entry: Establish comprehensive dealership network and service centers across GCC

Operations Management: Oversee import logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance

Financial Partnerships: Build relationships with local banks for customer financing solutions

Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage sales and service teams

Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies for regional market penetration

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Qatar's vehicle safety and emission standards

Brand Representation: Serve as primary liaison between Chinese manufacturer and regional operations

Required Permits & Licenses (Qatar)
- Commercial Registration from Ministry of Commerce and Industry
- Automotive Dealer License

Job Offer - General Manager: Automotive Operations

- VAT Registration
- Municipality approvals for showroom locations

Preferred Background
