Cafeteria Duty Officer

As the Cafeteria Duty Officer, you would be responsible for the day-to-day operation of all staff Cafeteria locations, by establishing and maintaining excellent client relationship, ensuring professional services, overseeing staff training and development; and motivating staff to deliver higher productivity and quality. Ensures company policies and procedures are followed without deviation. Contributes to achieving the financial targets as stipulated by budget.
- Is responsible for the overall management of the operations in all staff cafeteria locations that are managed by QACC.
- Ensures that services provided are in full compliance with customer specifications and up to pre-set standards.
- Anticipates the changing environment and work requirements, and provides forecast and analysis with all measures that need to be taken to improve the overall performance of Cafeteria operations.
- Complies strictly at all times with Governmental and regulatory procedures and requirements.
- Implements and reinforces policies and procedures pertaining to QACC and QR Group. Suggests and recommends positive updates when and if required.
- Interacts with other divisions, subsidiaries and internal departments of QACC for feedback and regular communication to ensure effective change management.
- Contributes to achieving financial targets for each profit centre, while implementing profitability enhancement measures such as a la carte (Qafe) expansion. Suggests and recommends, where necessary, adjustments to budget with the focus on potential savings revenue opportunities.
- Ensures optimal stock levels based on company targets, and implements action plans to rectify and improve against targets.
- Implements strict measures to ensure clients’ settlement of invoices (if any) is in accordance with individual customer’s agreement.
- Plans, analyses and submits all staffing requirements well in advance to department head and HR, to ensure optimal balance between staffing level (at each location) and operational efficiency.
- Ensures department’s full compliance to all medical requirements, hygiene standards, uniform policy and security/safety obligations.
- Contributes in evaluating the profitability and liability of all subcontracts linked to given projects.
