**About the role**:
As a Senior Manager - Contracts and Commercial, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:
Reviewing, recommending and processes the fee proposals for individual projects based on the specific requirement of the project for approvals. Enhancing the processes of preparation of budget estimate, tendering documents, measurement and costing, tendering procedures, award of Contracts, preparation of contract documents, review and coordination with the Engineers, end users, and stakeholders within and outside the department
- To drive the best value from suppliers and subcontractors. Formalize the standard documents for the effective functions of the section.
- As a tender evaluation key member, responsible for reviewing and recommending the Technical and Commercial submissions and endorsing for Tender committee approval. Review and approve the tender and contract documents.
- Accountable for reviewing and approving award letters, payment certifications, variations, Final Account and completion certificates.
- Manage and produce accurate financial reports in accordance with the business timetable.
- Monitor all commercial information in relation to the project, including labor, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting, thus ensuring budgets are adhered to.
- Manage all costs relating to projects from the initial calculations to the final figures, prepare the Project Cost Estimate and review the cost Analysis for Qatar Airways projects. Ensure effective control of costs in all activities.
- Liaise with relevant Qatar Airways' internal Departments (Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Insurance, etc.)
- Identify, assess and resolve financial and contractual risks for the project, analyze outcomes and prepare detailed project reports and Financial close-out reports for the projects.

Qualifications

**About you**:

- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering/Quantity Surveying
- Preferred: MRICS/CIOB Certification, Arabic speaker
