About the role

You will execute end-to-end documentary production for the airline, from planning to shooting to post-production and delivery. Plays a major role across the entire QR Group, shooting and producing five-star documentaries of activities, events and key interviews involving Customer Experience. Under general direction, plan and facilitate studio and field-based video and photo production, including the planning, filming, editing, sound mixing, graphic design and output of a wide range of video and pictures as requested, and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Other operational duties would include:_
- Work in collaboration with other departments and production staff both internally and externally to produce avariety of video and photo imagery that is suitable for broadcasting, webcasting, and video streaming.
- Plan, direct and assign studio productions and oversee operation of photo and video shoots.
- Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, colour correction, and final editing using Final Cut Pro software.
- Utilize computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts.
- Compress video projects for output, capture recorded video using software and encode media as appropriate.
- Cater to the specific needs of department clients, both internal and external, to fulfil the needs of their photo shoot, and remain flexible in adhering to their requirements in the pre-, field
- and post-production phases as requirements may change with time.
- Be sensitive to the audience characteristics of each video, understanding the one size does not fit all, while maintaining a five-star approach to visual communication.
- Adhere to strict project management standards and deliverable dates.

**Qualifications**:
About you

We are looking for a creative and dynamic experienced professional to join Projects and Communications.
- High School Qualification with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- It is essential -_
- 4+ years of video editing and motion graphics experience.
- High level of technical proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and experience with Final Cut Pro
- Progressively responsible experience in a professional video editing/producing environment demonstrating competence in all areas of video production.
- At least 2 years’ work experience in the field of professional documentary, advertising, and movie making.
- At least 2 years’ experience in post-production editing.
- Master’s degree in Visual Communications,_ preferred_
- Professional television production equipment operation including video cameras and recorders, audio recording equipment, file compression, video switching, character generation, graphics manipulation, lighting, and post-production equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and innovative thinker.
- Great communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
- Solid organisational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
