Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and qualified Safety Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations are effectively implemented and maintained across our projects/sites, creating a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff and workers.
  • Carry out regular inspections, audits, and safety drills.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety laws, regulations, and client-specific HSE requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting of safety-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • Valid NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory/preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
