Supervisor (Machine Shop) Job Location: Qatar Age Limit: Below 40 Years Gender: Male Only Muslim Candidate No. Position – 5 Duty Hours: Standard Eight (08) Hours /26 daysSalary:  QAR 3,300 -3,500 per monthJob Overview:The Supervisor(Machine Shop) will be responsible for overseeing and managing allmachining operations within the workshop. The role involves supervisingmachinists and technicians, ensuring the quality and precision of machiningwork, maintaining production schedules, and coordinating with other departmentsto achieve project goals efficiently and safely.Job Role& Responsibilities:· Supervise day -to -day operations of the machineshop and ensure adherence to work schedules.· Assign tasks to machinists and monitor theirperformance to maintain productivity and quality standards.· Review technical drawings and ensure componentsare machined according to design specifications.· Oversee the operation of lathes, millingmachines, grinders, and other precision equipment.· Ensure all tools, machines, and equipment areproperly maintained and calibrated.· Implement and enforce safety regulations andshop policies.· Troubleshoot machining problems and providetechnical guidance to the team.· Coordinate with maintenance, fabrication, andquality control teams to resolve production issues.· Maintain documentation related to production,maintenance, and quality checks.· Train and mentor junior machinists andtechnicians to enhance skill levels and productivity. RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education: Diploma or Degree in MechanicalEngineering or related field.· Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in amachine shop environment, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.· Must have hands -on experience with machiningoperations in shipyard, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.· Strong knowledge of machining processes,materials, and measurement techniques.· Experience in Gulf or overseas industrialprojects preferred.RequiredSkills:· Excellent knowledge of lathe, milling, drilling,and precision machining equipment.· Ability to read and interpret engineeringdrawings and technical documents.· Strong leadership, team management, and problem -solvingskills.· Good understanding of maintenance and toolmanagement.· Commitment to safety and quality controlprocedures.· Effective communication and coordination skills.· Ability to work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
