About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Applications Database Administrator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, databases, and related systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, clone, backup, and recover Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and databases.
  • Monitor and tune Oracle EBS applications and databases for optimal performance.
  • Perform Oracle EBS upgrades (R12.2.x to latest releases).
  • Configure load balancing and implement SSL certificates for R12 EBS.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and health checks for Oracle core databases and ERP applications.
  • Administer Oracle ERP systems, including user management, request groups, forms registration, printer setup, workflow, mail configuration, and concurrent manager setup.
  • Install, patch, and manage Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/OBIA) from a DBA perspective.
  • Implement disaster recovery solutions for Oracle ERP applications and databases on Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Configure and monitor RMAN backups and Oracle Data Guard/Standby in RAC environments.
  • Install and maintain Oracle RAC multi-node clusters and EBS clusters (shared app top).
  • Monitor databases and applications running on Linux operating systems.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts using Shell, Perl, Python, and SQL.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues in collaboration with DBAs, developers, system administrators, and functional teams.
  • Implement role-based access control and security for Oracle ERP.
  • Provide technical training, documentation, and guides for end-users and internal teams.
  • Manage support tickets with vendors and internal Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with Oracle EBS and databases.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification required.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) in reading and writing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
