Job Title: Hydraulic Technician – OffshoreJackup RigLocation: Offshore Qatar (North Field, Halul Island, or ContractedRigs) Employment Type: Rotational (e.g., 41 days on/21 days off) Reporting To: Chief Mechanic / Maintenance SupervisorKey Responsibilities1. Hydraulic System Maintenance·       Troubleshoot,repair, and maintain criticalhydraulic systems:o   Jacking systems (rack & pinion, hydraulic elevators)o   BOP controls (blowout preventer hydraulic units)o   Crane & winch hydraulicso   Power pack units and accumulator systems2. Inspection & Testing·       Conduct pressure tests and leakdetection on hydraulic circuits·       Perform fluid analysis and filterreplacement·       Calibrate pressure relief valves and controlsystems3. Emergency Response·       Rapidly diagnose and resolve hydraulicfailures (e.g., jacking system leaks)·       Support well control emergencies involvingBOP hydraulics4. Safety & Compliance·       Follow Qatar Energy (QP) safetystandards for high -pressure systems·       Maintain hose management program (inspection/replacementschedule) RequirementsQualifications & CertificationsMandatory:·       3+ years hydraulic experience (offshore/oil & gas preferred)·       BOSIET/FOET with HUET (Offshore Survival & HelicopterEscape)       Qatar Ministry of Public Health MedicalCertificatePreferred:·       Certification in Hydraulic Systems (e.g., Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin)·       Experience with PLC -controlled hydraulicsystems Benefits·       Overtime pay (No overtime required – Strictly 12 hour shift)·       Safety bonuses (for incident -free rotations)·       Flight Ticket : Each crew changefrom Doha – Home country - Doha
