OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
- Establish and maintain links with Immigration and Naturalization, Civil Aviation, Economic Departments, Chamber of Commerce, Embassies and Consulates and other private and public sector entities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with the Government Relations departments to assist with the processing of visas and any other administration related duties that may arise in daily operations.
- Acts as an ambassador for Rosewood Doha at various government meetings.
- Obtains employment visa and residence permits for Rosewood Doha employees and their dependents.
- Arranges for medical test for employees, dependents for the processing of residence visa.
- Arranges for cancellation or transfer of visas as requested by Human Resources.
- Arranges for visit visas for employees through Embassies and consulates.
- Receives requests from managers, departments and individual employees to secure visas, residences, medical tests, etc. on a daily basis, seeks the necessary clarifications and documents from the concerned parties, prioritizes and includes in the planned daily workload sheet.
- Maintains contacts with airports for depositing visa and ensures employees proceed smoothly on arrival at Doha airport.
- Maintains a record of expiry dates of residence permits, visas, and ensures renewal in time to avoid fines and complications.
- Arranges ID cards for the employees of Rosewood Doha & its subsidiaries.
- Receives a varied amount of service requests, which are diversified in nature.
- Arrange Qatari ID Card for all Rosewood Doha employees.
- Update and maintain all employees within the CID system.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Held accountable and committed whatever it takes to comply with the company's OSHMS Policies, OSHMS Procedure, & Operational Works Instruction and any other relevant legislation applies within the organization.
- Held accountable to take care of his own health and safety, other person in the workplace that may be affected by their acts or omission at work.
- To report to his supervisor or respective Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum one years' secretarial or clerical experience, preferably in the Human
Resources area.

Education:High school diploma.
-
General Skills:Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy;
prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving
problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's
service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with mínimal
supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

Technical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to type a minimum of 45 words
per minute.

Language:Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.

Physical Requirements:Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout
the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work
periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their
understanding.
