Job Summary:

The Assistant Factory Manager will assist the Factory Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment within our Gypsum/Wall Panel manufacturing facility.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities:

1.

Production Management:


  • Assist the Factory Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

2.

Team Leadership:


  • Supervise and provide guidance to production teams to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.
  • Assist in training and developing staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
3.

Quality Control:

  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address quality issues.

4.

Safety Compliance:


  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and promoting safety awareness among staff.
  • Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

5.

Inventory Management:


  • Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages.

6.

Reporting and Documentation:


  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as production output, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Gypsum/Wall Panel industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.

Working Conditions:

  • The role may involve occasional extended hours or shifts based on operational needs.
