About therole

As a SeniorManager Loyalty & Partnerships you will be accountable andresponsible to support the Loyalty team within QR CommercialDivision by providing endtoend support to review analyse draft andnegotiate complex contracts related to loyalty partnershipsincluding compliance with relevant laws and regulations competitionlaws and compliance data privacy cybersecurity and technologycontractual requirements to protect the interests of and to meetthe business requirements of Qatar Airways Group. This role is alsoresponsible to act as Group Legal point of contact for assistingwith relationship management with the Loyaltyteam.

Accountabilities:

  • Negotiate developand manage strategic Loyalty contracts in accordance with corporaterequirements of QR Group support legal requirements and proceduresto secure and protect the business interests of the companyincluding a wide variety of relatedmatters.
  • Establish Qatar Airways as an ethicalpartner in a highly competitive market through negotiating draftingand implementing a wide variety of Loyalty partnershipagreements.
  • Develop a suite of relevantcontract templates for the different Loyaltypartnerships.
  • Develop and implement contractpolicy and procedure revisions and improvements and ensure QRcontracts are as per standards.
  • Identify andevaluate the risks arising from contractual positions and advisethe business accordingly to mitigate the anticipatedrisks.
  • Support the research and preparationfunction of the Group Legal Department by providing technical andregulatory guidance.
  • Develop strongprofessional relationships with stakeholders and other seniormanagement to work collectively on commercial contracts and otherrelated projects. (StakeholderManagement)
  • Guide and support QR divisions onthe development of processes and procedures in alignment with QRCompliance Policies.
  • Establish the departmentor teams objectives and priorities to align with and supportbusiness objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate thedepartment or teams objectives plans procedures and practices andmake appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee andsupervise employees. Direct daily activities recruit train developand discipline to ensure a high standard of servicedelivery.
  • Train and develop other employees toensure succession planning is in place.
  • To becommitted and contribute to the National talent development bycoaching the national developees preparing them for a career withboundless potential. Leading to the programmes continued growth andsuccess.
Qualifications

You willpossess:

  • Relevant College orUniversity qualification to min Bachelors level (Masters or Higheran added bonus)
  • Minimum 10 years relevantexperience
  • Must be qualifiedLawyer.
  • Fluent English Speaking and writingskill
  • Strong legal draftingskills
  • Excellent knowledge in contract andcommercial negotiation relating to service and productagreements
  • Experience of Loyalty schemes andEmoney Regulations
  • Proficiency in MS OfficeSuite particularly MS Word
  • Keen eye for detailand strong presentation skills
  • Ability tomultitask and meet deadlines
  • Managerial skillsAbility to delegate work set clear direction and manage workflow.Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to foster teamworkamong teammembers.
