Qatar Airways presents an exciting opportunity to become a Loyalty Non-Airline Partnerships Specialist within the Customer Engagement & Loyalty department.

As a specialist in Non-Airline Partnerships, you will take the lead in managing partnerships with various industries such as Financial, Travel, Retail, and Lifestyle. Your main tasks will involve expanding and nurturing the portfolio of Non-Airline partners specific to your assigned sector.

You will be responsible for fostering relationships with key stakeholders, leading Business Development initiatives, supporting Privilege Club projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet objectives, and concentrating on enhancing customer engagement, profitability, and achieving revenue targets.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Contributing to partnership strategies by designing collaboration models with non-airline partners to introduce new member benefits, increase earn velocity, offer more redemption choices, and boost revenues
  • Enhancing non-airline market presence through well-defined business plans and utilizing local QR teams to drive revenue and engagement in key markets across Europe, US, ISC, APAC, and GCC regions
  • Managing various loyalty product offerings and campaigns by engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying prospective non-air partners through networking and sales initiatives to bring additional value to customers
  • Presenting new partnership proposals effectively to secure senior management buy-in
  • Engaging with stakeholders through meetings, information exchanges, and discussions on commercial terms
  • Overseeing the account portfolios of assigned partners to ensure year-on-year growth
  • Influencing key-partnership decisions through negotiations for mutual benefit
  • Reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with business policies
  • Coordinating the launch of new partner products and services in collaboration with Loyalty Marketing and Corporate Communications teams
  • Monitoring partner purchases and adjusting strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Influencing key account partners to run joint offers, campaigns, and communication activities to enhance customer value
  • Evaluating recent partner launches to measure results and effort

Qualifications

About You

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification (Diploma or Equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent for Qatari Nationals without prior experience
  • Experience in consultancy or business development/commercial/finance
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in data analytics, presentation development, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
  • Commercial acumen

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in loyalty programs, aviation, and understanding of loyalty economics
  • Project management expertise
