Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Knowledge

  • Business Development:
  • Identify potential business opportunities and new markets for heavy equipment rental services.
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, competitors, and industry trends specific to heavy equipment and rental trading.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share in the heavy equipment rental market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, construction companies, contractors, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop customized rental solutions and packages for different customer segments.

Sales and Account Management:

  • Prospect and generate leads specifically within the heavy equipment and rental trading sector.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with potential clients in the heavy equipment rental market.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored rental solutions to meet their heavy equipment needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements specific to heavy equipment rentals.
  • Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and longterm partnerships.

Sales Planning and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue targets in the heavy equipment rental sector.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as rental revenue, utilization rates, and customer acquisition costs specifically within heavy equipment and rental trading.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management, focusing on the heavy equipment rental market.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve sales processes, marketing strategies, and the rental equipment portfolio.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer support, to ensure seamless heavy equipment rental experiences for clients.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events specifically related to the heavy equipment and rental trading sector.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities in heavy equipment rentals.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior sales team members, if applicable, specifically within the heavy equipment and rental trading industry.
