Job Descriptions:

  • Create chocolates based on the approved recipes from start to finish
  • Lead and monitor a team of chocolate makers to ensure that daily deliverables / orders are met
  • Train new members on the recipes and standards of making the chocolates
  • Create original recipes with new flavours or for new types of chocolates
  • Develop flavour and texture combinations
  • Produce chocolate and confectionery products
  • Design or suggest new moulds / packaging for chocolates
  • Maintain quality and hygiene standards
  • Resolve issues that may arise on the chocolate making / production (tempering, consistency in flavour, texture, etc.)
  • Liaise / coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, delivery, operations, accounts, and management)
  • Keep up to date with trends in the chocolate and confectionery industry
  • Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years related work experience (in chocolate and confectionery industry)
  • Expert knowledge in the chocolate making techniques and production processes
  • Teamworkoriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be located in Qatar
  • Must have a valid QID / transferable work visa
