Job Overview:

The Client Services Associate will play a key role in supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) and senior management by developing an analytics engine, optimizing key client processes, and driving automation initiatives within the Private Wealth function. This role will involve significant collaboration across departments, including investment management, finance, and middle and back-office teams, to ensure seamless client service operations, reporting enhancements, and investment placement coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Process Optimization:

  • Contribute to the creation of an analytics engine to track and analyze RMs and client activities, including metrics such as client calls, cross-selling, historical churn rates, investor participation levels, placement velocity, and client segmentation.
  • Analyze the call reports on a periodic basis, identify patterns, gaps and areas of focus and communicate them to the RMs for better decision making.
  • Enhance key processes including prospecting, account allocation, account planning, objective setting, KYC, and client onboarding.
  • Work closely with RMs and senior management to refine and institutionalize best practices for client engagement and reporting.

Automation & Reporting:

  • Support the automation initiatives within the Private Wealth function, ensuring efficiency in internal and external reporting. Collaborate with internal teams (investments teams, middle and back office) and external vendors to implement automation solutions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on key performance metrics for senior management, tracking Private Wealth function performance.
  • Oversee enhancements to investor reports, distribution letters, capital call letters, NAV reports, and other client-facing materials.
  • Address any inquires from clients and RMs, and prepare presentations for prospecting, prepare ad-hoc reports as and when requested by RMs and clients

Client Services & Investment Placement Coordination:

  • Actively participate and prepare client proposals, marketing initiatives, and investor events.
  • Contribute to the investment placement activities, aligning closely with the investment team on the overall placement calendar.
  • Standardize and institutionalize investor reporting in coordination with investment management teams
  • Preparing presentation and other materials for clients meeting .
  • Communicating client feedback and requirement to the appropriate teams to improve services
  • Contribute to market mapping, account planning, and go-to-market strategy development for target client segments and geographies.
  • Coordinate all client services and operational functions within the distribution back office.
  • Act as the coordinating liaison between investment management, finance, and back/middle-office functions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Consistently liaise with investment teams to ensure that feedback from RMs on products, market trends, and customer insights is effectively communicated.
  • Work closely with the Head of Client Services to develop, implement, and monitor KPIs for the distribution function.
  • Originate and manage relationships with third-party distribution partners, including private banks and wealth managers outside the GCC.
  • Contribute to investment strategy and decision-making by assessing the syndication potential of investments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private wealth management, or a similar role within financial services.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with experience in automation and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with investor reporting, financial products, and distribution strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data visualization, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience managing external vendor relationships and working with third-party distribution partners.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to private wealth management.
