Role Description
As the Head of Administration in the real estate industry, your role will involve overseeing and managing administrative functions specific to the real estate sector. Key responsibilities may include:
- Team management: Leading and supervising the administrative team, ensuring their productivity, and providing guidance and support.
- Compliance and regulatory adherence: Ensuring compliance with real estate regulations, licensing requirements, and other legal obligations.
- Property management support: Collaborating with property managers to provide administrative support in areas such as lease agreements, tenant communication, and property maintenance.
- Documentation and record management: Establishing and maintaining efficient systems for managing property documents, contracts, leases, and other administrative records.
- Transaction coordination: Overseeing administrative processes related to real estate transactions, such as property sales, purchases, and leasing.
- Financial administration: Assisting with financial tasks, including budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice processing, in collaboration with the finance department.
- Vendor and contractor management: Managing relationships with vendors and contractors involved in property maintenance, repairs, and other services.
- Technology and software implementation: Identifying and implementing administrative tools, software, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
- Communication and coordination: Facilitating effective communication and coordination among internal teams.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Property management experience
- Knowledge of lettings administration
- Strong administrative assistance skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in the real estate industry is a plus
