About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Rooms Department, the Guest Experience Representative is responsible for:

  1. Greet and warmly welcome all visitors and employees upon arrival, consistently maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour.
  2. Use excellent communication skills to answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, ensuring accurate information is provided, and inquiries are handled promptly.
  3. Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department with efficiency and courtesy.
  4. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable working area at all times.
  5. Assist in scheduling appointments and preparing meeting rooms as needed.
  6. Oversee meeting rooms to ensure they are correctly set up and maintained clean and orderly.
  7. Ensure service staff in meeting rooms are well-trained, well-groomed, and ready to provide excellent service during meetings.
  8. Support administrative tasks such as photocopying and assisting staff and guests with their requirements.
  9. Deliver a premium reception experience for VIP guests, ensuring all arrangements are prepared and executed seamlessly.
  10. Anticipate and address visitor needs proactively before they are requested.
  11. Coordinate closely with the hospitality team to support events and meetings exceptionally.

As Guest Experience Representative, we expect from you:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
  2. A minimum of 1 year of Front Office experience.
  3. Previous experience working in the Middle East Region is an advantage.
  4. Strong command of Microsoft Office products.
  5. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
