Background

Ooredoo is entering a new phase in its lifecycle where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success. The urgency for change has become more heightened amidst increased competitive intensity across all markets in which Ooredoo operates. The Group’s ESS transformation programme must therefore ensure the successful delivery of the transformation in context of:
Alignment of the Program objectives with the overall Ooredoo strategy

Rapidly changing ICT environment

Management of executive and shareholder expectations across the OpCos throughout the transformation

Management of employee, customer and supplier expectations

Constant dynamics and local challenges in the economic, regulatory and legal environments

This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the Opco CEOs and direct reports, the Assistant Director, Change Management will be accountable for the successful delivery of ESS Transformation Program by guiding the organization through the change while ensuring adequate upskilling across the organization.

The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency.

The role will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.

The position holder will be accountable to ensure structured change and training in alignment with ESS vision and objectives.
Role Profile

Supervises and approves the development of a structured change management strategy in alignment with ESS vision and objectives.

Supervises quality of change management tools and templates and conduct lessons learned to improve tools and template.

Develops and monitors the Change management Governance that drives the collaboration between Group, OpCos, and all relevant stakeholders.

Communicates with Senior Stakeholders and the committees to keep them up to date with progress, issues and developments in change adoption

Supports the creation of actionable deliverables for change management, i.e. change plan, roadmap, Communication Plan, Ambassador approach, resistance management plan

Coordinates with other workstreams to discuss challenges, risks and resistance related to change adoption

Align between ESS central team and OpCos regarding business matter
Experience

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

10 years of Senior Management Experience

Minimum 3 years of Transformation experience

Minimum 5 years in sector industry

Experience in consulting, worked as change agent, communication management lead

Should have been involved in delivery of projects or programs in ERP implementations, system deployment and/or large-scale organizational change

Sound capability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

Experience and knowledge of desktop publishing, web-based communications, and web page development

Experience in creating an environment of change, run programs, communication letters and periodicals in news magazine, initiated programs of branding for both building awareness and embracing the change. Work across diverse cultures and geographies

Proven track record of business improvement

High performing individual in a line management position, with strong standing to be perceived as peer for most management levels

Understanding of functional areas and/or products associated with specific initiative

Ability to drive change management work stream in a project context with limited guidance

Sound business judgment to ensure cultural aspirations are well integrated in performance improvement activities

Sufficient financial knowledge to understand business cases and consequences on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow

Ability to coach and train, including conducting group and one to one training

High level of energy and creativity for transformation, willingness to go the extra mile

**Qualifications**:

University degree, Master’ preferred

Fluent English - Arabic and French is a plus
