Identify staff training needs and plan for appropriate training to be provided in a timelymanner.
- Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.
- Ensures that all CPD activities offered by CPD-HP adhere to the Department of Healthcare Professionals (DHP) Accreditation Standards for Continuous Professional Development.
- Plans, oversees, and manages all the activities of the CPD-HP unit including providing appropriate instruction to staff, ensuring the security and maintenance of facilities, ensuring the provision of appropriate support for stakeholders, and managing the promotion and marketing of the unit
- Guide the drafting and updating of relevant policies and procedures of the CPD-HP unit, with regular liaison with the QU Health CPD-HP Advisory Committee.
- Provide strategic oversight in the development of CPD programs, including identifying appropriate collaborators and partners to work with in designing and conducting relevant needs assessment activities and developing and delivering CPD content.
- Contribute to Qatar University Health (QU Health) management strategic planning, financial forecasting, and ensuring alignment with the wider QU Health mission and vision.
- Correspond and engage with the external CPD-HP Advisory Committee (formed of stakeholder representatives from local health and education institutes) on issues including, but not limited to, professional and practice needs, CPD activity development and delivery, and matters pertaining to DHP accreditation.
- Leading and supporting on the required administrative duties related to the successful programming and efficient running of the CPD-HP unit’s operations

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree from a reputable university in Health or related field.
- Post graduate degree from a reputable university in education or related field
