Software Sales Executive

#### Overview:
As a Software Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving the sales of software solutions to businesses across various industries. This role involves building relationships with prospective clients, identifying their software needs, presenting suitable solutions, and closing deals. You will work closely with the sales team, marketing, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve revenue targets.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Sales Strategy & Planning**:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics within the software industry.
2. **Lead Generation & Client Acquisition**:
- Qualify potential customers by understanding their business needs and challenges, and identify the appropriate software solutions to address these needs.
3. **Product Presentation & Solution Selling**:
- Conduct software product demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of the software solution.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations based on the client's business challenges and goals.
4. **Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at client organizations.
- Regularly communicate with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
5. **Deal Closure & Negotiation**:
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Ensure pricing and terms are in alignment with the company's policies, while also meeting customer expectations.
6. **Collaboration & Teamwork**:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and technical support to ensure smooth onboarding and client success.
- Provide feedback from the field to help shape future product development and marketing initiatives.
7. **Sales Reporting & CRM Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the Sales Manager.
### Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven track record in B2B software sales, preferably within the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle objections.
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling software solutions.
- Knowledge of specific industries or verticals where the software is applied.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like consultative selling, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
