**Position Objectives**:
This role is responsible to ensure that all Client projects conform to the PMO standards and methodologies and to provide project technique and best practice training and guidance.

This role contributes by ensuring special projects are delivered on time and as per agreed SLAs with the responsibility for managing the performance of operating units and ensuring that functions deliver on their scorecard goals & contribute to the achievement of corporate goals.
Responsible for tracking & monitoring all projects in the company while ensuring projects are being completed within the scheduled time and approved budget. Develop, implement, promote and support a common project management methodology across the entire enterprise, fostering the profession within the Organization.

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
Undertake regular and ad-hoc Project reviews throughout the business to provide Senior Management with accurate and timely reporting of project progress and variance.

Coordinate Technical feasibility for project requests received from external BUs, in close consultation with relevant teams and align with requester on any change in scope.
Support the Head of PMO in analyzing project pipeline and recommending changes in project portfolio, if any.
Develop the program & project delivery plans, clearly defining roles and responsibilities and milestones.
Ensure the use of standard and approved project management tools and project management techniques and standards within Client business units.
Oversee the financial health of all projects by analysing costs, revenue, risks and payment terms.
Ensure adherence to all financial mandates of the projects from execution to delivery phase.
Perform expense audits as applicable on projects to ensure that all expenses to the project are in compliance with agreed terms.
Monitor project forecasting including risk and opportunity management.
Oversee weekly and ad-hoc project progress reviews with all Project Managers for the purpose of establishing progress to date, issues, risks, conflicts and variance.
Co-ordinate with Project / program stakeholders to improve project profitability.
Direct project documentation and project progress reporting according to PMO standards and timelines.
Ensure that all new projects conform to the PMO standards and follow the PMO methodologies.
Conduct Project and Programme assessments to ensure that all new projects meet the PMO predefined criteria for project viability assessment by the MC.
Provide data to the PMO Senior Manager on all such projects to facilitate their review by the Executive Steering Group (ESG) for approval.
Direct business unit project managers training on the PMO Methodologies and general project planning and project control techniques.
Monitor project plan development and provide best practice guidance on the formation of the plan, project controls and processes to be observed based on the PMO Methodology and Standards.
Provide best practice training and mentoring to business unit project managers in project management skills and techniques, including the use of Microsoft Project for project plans and innovative features to support the control and management of each project.
Support the implementation of project tracking tools and other program management tools including version levels, new features, enhancement, maintenance and testing prior to release.
Maintain effective communication throughout Client on PMO and Project and Programme Management practices.
Maintain an intranet facility for the storage of PMO templates and example documents as well as, PMO related documentation e.g. Project Planning standards.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Telecom.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the fields of PMO / Enterprise Program Management
Vast EPMO exposure to Identify Project variances, issues and risks and follow up any issues likely to cause risk or delays to projects with the Project Managers to understand their plans to resolve.
Proven experience in defining measurable KPIs for each of the programs to track its current status.
Prior experience to undertake continual and iterative improvement reviews of the PMO methodologies and processes and ensure that the client organisation is appraised of such undertakings (and changes).
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language, Arabic would be an added advantage.
Advanced level management reporting and presentation skills.
