**Job Overview**:
The Kids Zone Personnel In-charge is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of a designated children’s play area or entertainment zone. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of children, creating a fun and engaging environment, managing staff, organizing activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Personnel In-charge will also interact with parents and guardians to provide a positive experience for all visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Kids Zone, including supervising play areas, games, and activities.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Manage the scheduling of activities and ensure a smooth flow of visitors into and out of the play area.
- Coordinate with other departments (cleaning, maintenance) to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet parents and children, explaining the activities and rules of the play zone.
- Address any inquiries or concerns from parents, providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensure parents and guardians feel confident about the safety and care provided for their children.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for children of all ages.
- **Child Safety and Supervision**:

- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the play zone.
- Enforce all rules and safety guidelines, ensuring that children and staff adhere to them.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or injuries, following the correct protocols.
- Provide assistance to children and address any behavioral concerns or conflicts in a positive and constructive manner.
- **Staff Supervision**:

- Train, supervise, and manage Kids Zone staff, ensuring they are equipped to handle the responsibilities of child supervision.
- Organize staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Oversee staff performance, providing guidance and feedback where necessary.
- Ensure all staff members are aware of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and child care standards.
- **Activity Planning and Coordination**:

- Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and events that engage children and promote creativity and fun.
- Plan and coordinate special events, birthday parties, or group activities within the play zone.
- Ensure a variety of activities that cater to different interests and age groups.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure the play zone complies with all health and safety regulations, including hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Regularly inspect toys, equipment, and facilities for any potential hazards and address them immediately.
- Ensure that staff are trained in first aid and are aware of child protection policies.
- Implement procedures to ensure children’s belongings and security (e.g., check-in/check-out system for parents/guardians).
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain an inventory of toys, supplies, and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in good condition.
- Order new toys, games, or supplies as needed to enhance the Kids Zone experience.
- **Reporting and Feedback**:

- Track daily attendance, incidents, and operational performance of the Kids Zone.
- Collect feedback from parents and children to improve the overall experience.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents to management in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (degree or certification in child care or early childhood education is a plus).
- Previous experience working with children in a child care, education, or recreational setting.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
- Knowledge of child safety and behavior management techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude when working with children.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate activities in a busy environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in handling child-related issues.
- Knowledge of first aid and basic child safety protocols (certification is a plus).
