As a Senior Events & Exhibitions Officer, you will be responsible to assist in planning and operations of Qatar Airways' events including destination inaugurals, product launches, trade exhibitions and air shows, press conferences and special events to help successfully promote Qatar Airways brand globally.

Other key responsibilities are:

- Responsible for assisting in the planning and operations of various events, including destination inaugurals, product launches, trade exhibitions, air shows, press conferences and other special events in line with departmental objectives, QR events' guidelines and standards.
- Provide operational support to the outstations as well as to other departments at head office with planning and operations of events in line with departmental objectives, QR events' guidelines and standards.
- Coordinate with event organisers, event management companies, service providers, venues, and other parties to effectively plan and schedule operational aspects of assigned events.
- Conduct site-visits to identify potential event locations, venues to host an event and prepare recommendation reports based on the event brief, operational requirements and in line with the QR events' guidelines and standards.
- Review and evaluate reports provided by event management companies and other involved services providers related to events' technical feasibility, health, and safety aspects.
- Compile detailed event plans, function and delivery schedules to achieve accurate planning and resources optimisation based of events' requirements, departmental objectives, QR events' guidelines and standards. Supervise event operations and monitor service delivery to ensure that all functions are completed in line with the pre-approved event plan, up to the required quality standards and within the allocated budget. Ensure optimal utilisation of branding opportunities on all QR events to promote and enhance brand's visibility.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the design, production, supply, and installation of promotional and marketing materials to ensure compliance with QR's brand guidelines and event specifications.
- Contribute to the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all departmental functions and tasks are carried out with cohesion, uniformity, and in accordance with QR's policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Assist and support the line manager in the preparation of the annual Events and Exhibitions Budget based on confirmed and forecasted events for the upcoming financial year.
- Support and train other team members as and when required.
- Demonstrate professional behaviour following the company's policies and promoting the image of Qatar Airways at all times.
- Assist in responding to any emergency or major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, as well as provide support for the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.

**Qualifications**:
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Events & Exhibitions Team.
- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
- 4+ years of job-related experience
- Previous experience of event planning and operations
- Experience with top tier brands in the middle east and/or global brands.
- Expert level skills of planning and prioritization
- Fluency English language skills - Written & Verbal
