Front Office Supervisor

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Supervises delegates, participates, and follows up all duties performed by the GSA.
- He is fully in charge of the shift he is working.
- Prepares the blocking for individuals, groups and crews (if any).
- Ensure that all required information is documented, updated, and available upon guest requests.
- Controls the store requisitions and makes sure of the proper use of office supplies.
- Ensure that the front desk is manned at all times.
- Ensure that the hotel credit policy is fully implemented.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the key handling procedures.
- Ensures that staff attends the briefing conducted by seniors.
- Ensures that the staff implements the basic rules of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Ensure that staff is respecting the hotel standards with regard to guest courtesy.
- Plans room assignment according to reservations and requests.
- Regularly checks the Front Office night report.
- In accordance with the season and current rates, he gives instructions to increase the average room rate.
- Knows and transmits all information regarding corporate products and make sure they are implemented.
- Notifies management of VIPs arrivals.
- Ensure that hotel transport runs regularly.
- Ensure that the Front Desk Staff get all in-house functions and those they are fully aware of them.
- Ensure the proper handling of guest complaints.
- Creates and develops the “Sales Sprit” among employees in order to optimize results.
- Prepares employee evaluation interviews.
- Ensure that the training courses are followed up.
- Evaluates training needs and provide all required training for employees.
- Informs the staff of programs being developed by the hotel and follow up for implementation.
- Accepts any other assignment given by the management.
- Ensure the strict implementation of all safety rules and regulations.
- Attends all statutory training required.
- Makes sure that his staff attends all required fire and safety training.
