Procurement Assistant

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Review purchase requisitions and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase agreements.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Assist with supplier selection and evaluation, including conducting supplier performance reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and requirements.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and optimizing inventory management processes.
- Support the procurement team in implementing procurement best practices and process improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Previous experience in a technology or IT-related industry.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
