**Job scope**

Working with the local Area Manager the Account Manager is responsible for growing the business, maintaining the current customers and executing sales plan assigned within a defined Area and/or Industry. The Account Manager will sell the full portfolio of products and services using and coaching Strategic Selling techniques and the Value Delivery model. Other projects/activities may be assigned to the Account Manager based on experience, development & business needs. The Account Manager is expected to be focussed on large sales opportunities and lead the opportunities in Refinery, Chemical and Petrochemical, Upstream Production, Desalination, Power Industry within the assigned Area.

**Essential Responsibilities **EHS & Compliance**
- Work in a safe manner always when delivering company objectives and comply with internal, legislative and customer EHS requirements and policies.
- Act always in compliance with the Veolia’s policies when maintaining and developing relationships with customers

**Commercial**
- Meet or exceed key metrics for assigned targets and/or other project activities.
- Drive new sales activity to achieve sales and growth targets,
- Personally lead & close opportunities in HPI, CPI, Power, Upstream, Desalination within the assigned Area, working with all the appropriate resources e.g. Product Applications, Growth Leader, Technical Marketing & Area Sales teams.
- Develop & maintain healthy pipeline.
- Ensure all opportunity commercial deals meet the Company profitability expectations
- Accurately forecast to the Area Manager.

**Qualifications/Requirement s**
- BSc Degree, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Availability to travel within assigned Area and abroad, including overnight stops.
- Possession of driving license
- Fluency in English Desired Characteristics
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing large opportunities in HPI, CPI, Power, Desalination
- Comfortable selling and presenting to medium/high levels within the Customer operation.
- Excellent organisational, communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate successfully with Economic buyers and Procurement personnel.
- Minimum 10 years’ Water & Process treatment experience and direct sales success in HPI & CPI.
- Highly agile and able to work successfully in a matrix organisation.
- Strong customer focus, sales mentality
- Tools proficiency with PC skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
