Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Training and Development Manager to join our team at Foreground LLC in Doha, Qatar.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between 15,000 QAR to 25,000 QAR per month, depending on experience. In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Training and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing learning and professional development programs specifically for the cleaning and facility management workforce. This role ensures that cleaning staff, supervisors, and managers acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively, contributing to overall organizational growth and service excellence.

  • Program Development: Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of cleaning staff, supervisors, and office personnel.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct job-specific skills training for cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures for blue-collar staff, and leadership, project management, and communication skills for white-collar employees.
  • Needs Assessment: Assess training needs through on-site visits, feedback from supervisors, and performance reviews.
  • Hands-on Training: Design and deliver hands-on training, toolbox talks, workshops, and refresher courses for cleaning teams and administrative staff.
  • External Coordination: Coordinate with external training providers for specialized certifications (e.g., health and safety, leadership, and compliance).
  • Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by monitoring on-the-job performance and conducting assessments.
  • Career Development: Develop career progression and development plans for both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
  • Onboarding: Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new staff across all levels.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update training records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the cleaning or facility management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards for blue-collar staff, along with experience in professional development for white-collar employees.
  • Experience delivering practical, hands-on training to blue-collar staff and conducting workshops for office personnel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Certification in Training & Development is preferred.
