Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Delivery Operations Manager to join our team at Qatar Airways Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Service Delivery department, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Manage all operational aspects of the Service Delivery department during the shift, including product and service delivery, customer service, and quality control.
    • Implement management instructions and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of operations.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring that all team members are aware of their roles and expectations.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
    • Analyze systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
    • Investigate and resolve operational issues, making informed decisions to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate effectively with airline representatives, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
    • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant college or university qualification to at least Bachelor's level.
    • Minimum 5 years of job-related experience, preferably in a medium/large flight catering unit.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Specialized knowledge of catering operations and rostering/scheduling.
    • Ability to manage working hours and ensure productivity of manpower effectively.
    • Ability to perform under high work pressure.
    • Good command over English language.
    • Effective communication/presentation skills.
    • Managerial skills - ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow.
