Job Description
The Assistant Director of Sales plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and exceeding guest expectations at Mandarin Oriental, Doha. Key responsibilities include ensuring total market coverage, inspiring and managing sales teams, and supporting the Director of Sales in office operations. This individual will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, guests, and team members, and maintaining excellent working relationships within the hotel.
Main Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Director of Sales, guarantee comprehensive market coverage.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team by fostering a results-driven culture, communicating targets and strategies, and providing regular feedback to optimize performance.
- Support the Director of Sales in all aspects of running the office and team efficiently.
- Evaluate requests and ensure timely handling by the team according to company standards.
- Promote customer loyalty and uphold property brand standards by delivering outstanding service throughout each interaction.
- Foster relationships with customers to increase share of account.
- Cultivate strong connections with customers, guests, and team members to grasp their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with colleagues across the hotel.
- Nurture and develop working relationships with all MO Regional Sales Offices.
