Job Description

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's commercial presence within assigned territories. This key position focuses on selling international logistics management services that align with corporate objectives, such as revenue and profit targets, and product growth to clients.

  • Leads a team of sales professionals and is accountable for their revenue, GP, contribution, and individual performance.
  • Identifies and develops qualified leads, converting them into prospects and customers while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Sells company products and services to engage prospects and customers, focusing on new business acquisition.
  • Maintains open communication channels by making regular courtesy calls to customers and serving as a primary point of contact for prospects and customers.
  • Achieves agreed-upon annual growth targets (revenue, profit, volume) in collaboration with management.
  • Closes business independently, leveraging understanding of competitive landscapes and internal cost structures to offer profitable pricing.
  • Logs outcomes from client prospecting exercises into the system.
  • Directs and assists Customer Service/Sales Support teams for ongoing rate quotations.
  • Establishes SOPs for customer service and operations teams to handle new accounts.
  • Evaluates customer credit needs and completes necessary documentation.
  • Follows up on leads generated by overseas and domestic offices until closure.
  • Ensures collection of pending invoices for the accounts department.
