We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Cleanliness Shift Leader to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping and laundry team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Guest Environment Experts to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and food and beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide training and coaching to Guest Environment Experts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the maintenance team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
