Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, ensuring optimal revenue management and maximizing hotel revenue.
  • Lead the government segment and regional accounts, focusing on revenue maximization and achieving personal targets.
  • Secure revenue from various streams, including Rooms, Meetings & Events, and F&B, through effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement action plans to increase hotel Average Daily Rate (ADR) and total revenue.
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in travel shows, GSO activities, to stay ahead in the market.
  • Manage Semi Government and General Services identities to increase the hotel's market share.
  • Collaborate with strategic business partners to evaluate performance and enhance commercial plans.
  • Implement SMART contracting to ensure optimal yielding during annual rate negotiations.
  • Regularly review sales activities and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • Three years of experience in a Sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain.
  • Local market experience is mandatory, with GCC market knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent professional communication skills with consumers, stakeholders, and regional office.
  • Confident personality with leadership skills and good presentation skills.
  • English language proficiency - excellent oral and written skills.
  • Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
  • Self-motivated personality and a great team player, who supports team members and coaches them with previous experience.
