Learning Experience Officer

The Student Experience Officer is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that support student welfare, extracurricular activities, and academic success. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and enriching student journey at Oryx Universal College.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs that enhance the student experience, including orientation, academic advising, and support services.
- Serve as a point of contact for student concerns, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to academic and non-academic matters.
- Collaborate with student organizations and leadership groups to facilitate engagement and co-curricular activities.
- Organize student feedback mechanisms such as surveys and focus groups to assess student satisfaction and areas for improvement.
- Plan and execute student-centered events, including cultural, academic, and social activities.
- Work with internal departments to support student-led initiatives and extracurricular programs.
- Coordinate workshops and seminars that contribute to student personal and professional development.
- Provide guidance and support for students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.
- Ensure students are aware of available counseling, mentorship, and wellbeing resources.
- Assist in implementing policies that promote inclusivity, diversity, and a safe learning environment.
- Support the Academic Registry in ensuring students receive timely academic guidance and administrative assistance.
- Assist with student records management, tracking student engagement, and generating reports for institutional improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve student retention strategies.
- A bachelor's degree in education, student affairs, social sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in student services, academic administration, or a related area in higher education is preferred.
- Strong understanding of student engagement principles and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong organizational and event planning abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive student concerns with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
