Role Summary

Tandemsearch is seeking an accomplished professional to fill the role of Director of Acquiring Business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our merchant acquiring businesses.

This position requires a high degree of expertise in cards and retail payment systems, as well as strong leadership and strategic planning skills. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that achieve pre-agreed volume and revenue targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing merchant acquisition plans to expand our merchant base
  • Maintaining effective relationships with merchants to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Formulating strategies to enhance merchant retention and reduce attrition
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver a comprehensive merchant acquisition program

Desirable Qualifications

  • University graduate with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Technology (related field of study), Masters preferred
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank
  • Well-informed of merchant acquiring business practices and related chargeback rules and regulations
