Job Overview
The Document Controller position is available at a major international company working within the energy sector. The successful candidate will be based in Doha and be responsible for managing the document control process, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents.
- Manage transmittals from external parties, recording references and maintaining copies of transmitted documents.
- Consolidate feedback from team members, ensuring consistency and error-free documentation.
- Track progress and report status to Line Managers.
- Provide administrative support to management and staff, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
- Arrange travel, including flight tickets and visas, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 8 years' experience in similar roles, with a minimum of 3 years in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders, executives, and external partners.
- Fluent English language skills; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Qatar and GCC culture and work environment.
