Job Description

The Senior LNG Sales Negotiator is responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize short-term sales value for QatarEnergy. Key accountabilities include negotiating Master Sales and Purchasing Agreements (MSPAs) with designated customers, analysing market trends, and providing in-depth understanding of all aspects of assigned short-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate MSPAs with customers to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Analyse market trends and regulatory developments to inform negotiation strategies.
  • Provide expertise on contract sanctity and adherence to QatarEnergy procedures.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient development and implementation of new MSPAs.
Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing and business development within the hydrocarbon industry is required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is also essential.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with various types of LNG sales contracts.
  • Understanding of FOB and Ex-Ship sales agreements.
