At SGS Qatar, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Government Relations Officer. Female candidates are also welcome to apply.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:

  1. Assisting in the management of government relations and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  2. Arranging the processing of attestation for related documents.
  3. Supporting the renewal of official company documents, including trade licenses, chamber of commerce certificates, import licenses, municipality licenses, and more.
  4. Executing procedures for adding new activities to the entity's commercial registration.
  5. Issuing new branch licenses/Commercial Registration for new locations and obtaining necessary approvals/licenses/training.
  6. Adding/removing directors on the company's legal documents.
  7. Issuing health certificates for staff members who require them.
  8. Obtaining document attestations from ministries and embassies as needed.
  9. Delivering correspondence to various stakeholders, including government agencies and private sector entities.
  10. Maintaining and building positive relationships with multiple ministries to promote a favorable image of the company and enhance its interests.
  11. Staying informed about changes or amendments to prevailing laws/rules/regulations, changes in forms/formats, and other procedures, and keeping the Government Relations Department updated on such developments.
  12. Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Supervisor.
  13. Handling customer complaints filed with the Consumer Protection Authority and providing necessary support to resolve the complaint amicably.
