Payroll Administrator

At PrecisionHire Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to facilitate the precise processing of business center's payroll, compensation & benefits and ensure that employees are paid all their contractual dues in a timely manner. As an essential member of our team, you will be accountable for verifying relevant data to ensure 100% accuracy of payroll transactions alongside compliance to local laws and Wage Protection System.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the payroll process from input of variable data to validation of pay slip before bank transfer.
- Administer verification of timesheets, reviewing calculations and data entry (new hires, amendments, rehires, transfers) of all relevant information for monthly payroll processing.
- Verify pay slips before initiating bank transfer; ensure payroll operations are compliant with Wage Protection System.
- Evaluate changes to payroll data (fixed or variable) to ensure they are supported by approved documentation and fully compliant with company policies and Qatar Labor Law.
- Control the full spectrum of payroll for each employee which includes: bank account, leave balance and encashment of annual leave; air fares; variable data; cash advance and deductions; final settlement; pay slips.
- Serve as single point of contact for dedicated population/cost centers by responding to queries of employees and managers while keeping Payroll Team Leader in loop; report/escalate complaints.
- Input monthly variable data, attendance etc. in payroll system; liaise with various stakeholders to gather such data from IFS as required.
- Enter new employees' data such as bank account details, QID number in payroll system (GEMS).
- Maintain communication with departmental head for monthly variable data; perform salary revisions and reconciliation in accordance with contractual amendments.
- Calculate monthly overtime and incentive for days worked during normal, weekends and public holidays.
- Audit salary payments with invoicing.
- Prioritize regular filing and archiving of payroll information.
- Develop monthly regularization data; generate ad hoc reports for management.
- Contribute towards company's QHSE policies in daily work environment.
- Undertake other tasks as necessary.
