The Chief Medical Administrator serves as a key operational enabler supporting the clinical team in the delivering the capabilities outlined in the contract. This role acts as the principal interface in providing personnel logistic and operational integration with external agencies. The CMAs assistance to the project manager and the chief medical officer is critical for mission success. 

Key Responsibilities:

 Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Assists the PM with: 
  • Administrative duties monitoring conduct and performance of staff leave and rest schedules duty rosters staff discipline approving pay and allowances travel security insurance coverages and assure medical and general welfare of contracted staff. 
  • Coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements deadlines and schedules. 
  • Managing and delivering aspects of personnel induction on site. 
  • Managing and overseeing the facilitys ongoing training plan. 
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues. 
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring adherence to quality standards. 
  • Preparing status reports by gathering analysing and summarizing relevant information. 
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring its . 
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget. 
  • Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies are implemented and followed by all staff. 
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients. 
  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables. 
  • Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period. 
  • Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements. 

Assists the CMO with: 

  • Overseeing committees clinical support functions and interface with clients. 
  • Coordinating care for beneficiaries. 
  • Attending nonclinical meetings with clients. 
  • Planning medical operations. 

Additional Duties: 

  • Compliance with International SOS policies and procedures. 
  • Quality Assurance. 
  • Collaboration & Education (L&D). 
  • Other support duties. 
  • Commercial Support. 

Direct line reports: 

The following positions are to be supervised directly by the incumbent; however this may change according to business needs. 

  • Medical Administrators 
  • Medical Logistics Specialists 
  • Quality Assurance Lead 
  • Ancillary Service Manager 
  • Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience preferably in a challenging geographical location. 
  • Bachelors degree or masters in business or administration preferred. 
  • Experience working in a busy medical clinic required. 
  • Medical background preferred. 
  • Overseas experience and contracting with DoD or DOS preferred. 

Key Skills: 

  • Demonstrable experience of leading a large team of clinical and nonclinical staff. 
  • Knowledge of clinical administrative processes. 
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills. 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of clinical administrative processes. 
  • Excellent IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems. 
  • Efficient computer skills and the ability to operate MS Office with Outlook Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under highstress work conditions. 
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplined team with clinical and nonclinical personnel. 
  • Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with personal and sensitive information. 
  • Flexible and ability to manage stressful situations. 
  • Resultsoriented and able to meet project deliverables. 

Other Special Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in reading writing and speaking English. 
  • This position is unaccompanied. 
  • Ability to obtain a base security clearance. 
  • Must be able to relocate to Doha Qatar. 
  • A valid passport from Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar. 

Additional Information :

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
