**Senior Analyst (Database)**

**Part A: Job Specification**

**Key Job Accountabilities**:
**1. **Strong knowledge and experience of managing and administering the Oracle databases on Linux/Solaris environments and windows servers.

**2. **Familiar with ITIL framework for change, incident and problem management.

**3. **Well Versed with Database High availability solution on Linux/Solaris environments.

**4. **Experience in oracle Windows Fail safe.

**5. **Fair knowledge of PL/SQL and Shell scripting.

**7. **Experience in SQL Server database administration covering, Alwayson, Mirroring, backup and restore using networker and native technologies.

**8. **Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL Server database Security and compliance.

**9. **Experience of using Tenable for Vulnerability management for databases (Oracle and SQL Server).

**11. **Assist Business Continuity Plan teams to develop and implement disaster recovery infrastructure setup and procedures.

**12. **Well versed with conversion of Oracle database to SQL Server databases and vice versa.

**13. **Develop the database standard operating procedures as per the company standards.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Computers Knowledge and/or Experience
- 10 Years of experience in IT with min of 5 years in database administration
- Technical and Business Skills
- Certified in Oracle
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and coordinate with different teams
- Good adaptability to work in multicultural environment
- Experience in integrating the databases with database activity monitoring (DAM) tools, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Networker for backups and SolarWind for database health monitoring, Centrify integration with non-windows databases and Tenable for vulnerability Management
