**JOB SUMMARY / JOB SCOPE**:
Responsible for:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify, assess, and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand QTC’s industrial and energy solutions portfolio.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients by leveraging market intelligence and customer insights.
- Conduct market research to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and client demands, ensuring QTC remains competitive.
- Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, and service agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, marketing, and operations, to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, government entities, and corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns, proactively working to enhance client retention and loyalty.
- Identify client needs and propose customized solutions, leveraging QTC’s wide range of products and services.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the sales team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company objectives.
- Set clear performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for individual sales representatives.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, negotiation skills, and sales techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback through performance appraisals and career development plans.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports for senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, credit control measures, and risk assessment protocols.
- Work closely with the supply chain and operations team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Ensure all sales operations adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on Qatar’s labor laws, industry regulations, and energy sector developments to maintain compliance.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in sales governance, reporting, and transparency.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging industrial and energy technologies, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Other duties/tasks as assigned by the GM based on business requirements.
**MAJOR FUNCTIONS PERFORMED / PERFORMANCE STANDARDS**:
- Knowing in depth the requirements of the industrial and energy solutions.
- Manages profit and loss and asset utilization and grows the business profitably.
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**
- Achieve or exceed balanced scorecard targets for the organization.
- Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, sales management and business development.
**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**Minimum Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Power Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
**Minimum Experience**:
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in managing sales & business development of industrial and energy solutions.
**Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Personal Traits**
- Business leader: Experience managing, training, and mentoring sales teams.
- Ability to develop winning sales strategies and close high-value deals.
- Understanding of Qatar’s industrial and energy sector, including key players, regulations, and challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain client relationships.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales reports, market trends, and financial metrics.
Experience with sales automation tools, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office - Suite, Power BI and other analytic software.
- Ability to handle complex sales negotiations and operational challenges.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English to engage with clients and senior stakeholders. Arabic will be an added advantage.
