About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving growth in line with our company's objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of IT solutions, market trends, and excellent communication skills to effectively present and promote our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the business strategy alongside the technical co-founders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Lead fundraising efforts by engaging with investors, VCs, and government innovation programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and regulators in the EU market.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and international expansion.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and investor reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums in Europe.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or entrepreneurship, ideally in cybersecurity, IT, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of the European cybersecurity market and regulatory environment (e.g., GDPR, NIS2).
  • Demonstrated ability to secure funding (VCs, angels, grants, or accelerators).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for risk and a drive to innovate.
  • Network within the EU tech and cybersecurity ecosystem is highly desirable.
