We are looking for anexperienced Senior Director of Business Development who will beresponsible for developing executive-level relationships that leadto identifying, developing, scoping, and closing enterprise levelstrategic opportunities to expand lines of business for Deluxe.

Theprocess is highly consultative and involves developing and managinglong-term relationships and delivering compelling solutions thatsolve challenges or create new opportunities for customers.

Therole requires experience analyzing market and productopportunities, developing business cases, developing workflows, andnegotiating contracts while ensuring we provide clients exceptionalservice throughout the product/service lifecycle across all linesof business ('LOB') and territories in APAC.This role will lead the Business Development team, which includesleading managers in different countries, coaching and developingthe team ad collaborating with them to curate the best strategy forevery client at a local level in region whilst working as part of aglobal team to execute end-to-end workflows for our customers.

MainDuties The SDBD shall lead and orchestrate all Deluxe partiesaround a clear, articulated account strategy by achieving superiorclient satisfaction and solidifying the SDBD's positionas a trusted advisor.

In addition to growing client market share,the SDBD's performance will ultimately be measured by:

  • Level of overall client satisfaction.
  • Depthand extent of client engagement.
  • Onboarding of newopportunities that contribute to our market share, increasing valueand growing our partnerships to unlock future opportunities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of client'sobjectives and strategies.
  • Build a thoroughunderstanding of Deluxe's portfolio of services
  • Continued growth in the overall share of theclient's available business in the APAC market.
A Day inthe Life of this position includes the following:

  • Explore and develop APAC-wide business opportunities and strategiestogether with the Managing Director of APAC.
  • Orchestrateand lead the execution of the business strategy in collaborationwith colleagues from various functions (client services, operation,project coordination, legal, IT, etc.) and geographies throughoutDeluxe.
  • Serve as the executive liaison between Deluxeand the client and provide the client with a 'singlepoint of contact' within Deluxe at a strategic &executive level.
  • Ensure uniform and consistent messagingand communication between all client entities and all partiesglobally at Deluxe.
  • Be involved in or be made aware ofall client-facing functions, including executive sponsorengagement, HQ visits and communications, etc.
  • Developlong-term Line-level and C-level relationships and ensure alllevels of Deluxe, executive down, are appropriately engaged withthe client.
  • Drive market share growth across all LOBsthroughout the client lifecycle.
  • Identify and drivepolicy and process improvement within Deluxe to increase the easeof doing business with Deluxe.
  • Identify and drive salesopportunities and help facilitate the opportunities moving frompipeline to delivery of the opportunities.
  • Identify anddrive innovation and partnership opportunities with the client andhelp facilitate the opportunities moving from pipeline to delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate enterprise RFPs and major accountagreements and support LOB RFPs.
  • Work with functionalteams and leaders to develop annual budgets andforecasts.
