Become the ambassador and the orchestrator of Qatar Airways Cargo VISION 2027.

We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Partnerships & Interline team as a Cargo Interline & Partnerships Manager in our office in Doha.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and developing cargo partnerships with other airlines. You will identify potential airline partners to develop traffic under mutually beneficial conditions and strategically develop cargo business with passenger airline strategic alliance and equity partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and develop potential cargo partnerships with carriers that bring the most network benefit to QR Cargo, including preparing business cases and memos (Excel & PowerPoint) for C-suites.
  • Overall responsibility for strategic partnerships performance; lead the development of business with partner airlines under mutually beneficial commercial conditions considering QR strategic requirements.
  • Manage revenue increase initiatives through interline sales on capacity where it is beneficial to the QR network and partnership.
  • Support the Manager of Cargo Strategic Partnerships to create tactical plans to meet commercial objectives set by management and provide feedback on the performance of these commercial objectives regularly in a structured way.
  • Use professional network and industry sources to continuously identify opportunities and initiate action to further develop the interline business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of job-related experience within the airline/air cargo industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in airline partnerships and alliances with a track record of contract negotiation and implementation; previous experience with partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions is preferred.
  • Advanced business case and memo writing and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Highly data and process-driven with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple, time-sensitive deliverables and competing priorities.
