**Your Role and Responsibilities**
IBM Security needs pre-sales specialists like you to join our diverse team. You will assume leadership and technical responsibility for all pre-sales aspects of delivering IBM’s flagship SIEM, XDR, SOAR, as well as data protection & IAM solutions to our clients to support software sales in the IBM Security business.
- Engagement at various levels of the client organisation to assess and identify solutions
- Collaboration to define, design and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions
- Answer technical questions or RFPs throughout the sales process in order to progress and close sales
- Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.
- Presenting our solutions and your point of view
- Support technical escalations, helping client and partners to adopt our technologies
- Developing technical guidance
- Provide technical assistance for marketing activities: Regional Workshops, User Group Meetings, Sales Seminars, Meet-ups, and Trade Shows

Core Skills:

- Cybersecurity knowledge in solutions and methodologies which may include SIEM, XDR, NDR, SOAR and Cloud Security
- Experience and track record in a Technical Sales or Delivery role
- Experience in technical solution design and architectures
- Knowledge of MITTER ATT&CK (or other comparable frameworks), implementation of security use cases, connection of third-party systems to SOC/SIEMs, requirement analysis in security projects.
- Understanding of Security operations and relationships and technologies used across the SOC in Incident Response.
- Good spoken and written English.
- SaaS/Cloud experience.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking, and listening
- Excellent presentation skills
- Readiness to travel regionally (up to 40%)

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- At least 7 years experience in Information Technology or Security
- At least 5 years experience in Software Pre-sales or Sales Engineering

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- CISSP, CISM or other Security related certification
- Knowledge in Kubernetes/OpenShift Container Platform
- Basic Node.JS skills
