About the role

As a lead sponsorship CSR officer you will be responsible to contribute towards the enrichment and development of Qatar Airways Global Sponsorship & CSR Strategy ensuring that each Sponsorship & CSR initiative undertaken reaps the best possible returns for the airline. In addition, you must Explore and evaluate new (and existing) Sponsorship & CSR opportunities which are in-line with the core objectives & strategies.

Additional responsibilities:

- Contribute in the planning of the annual Sponsorships & CSR budget.
- Implement an effective execution plan with all involved internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure QR branding is prominent and consistent in all Sponsorship & CSR activities.
- Support Manager Sponsorships & CSR to effectively communicate the strategy, and manage communication of on-going Sponsorship & CSR programs as required to stakeholders.
- Manage the Sponsorship & CSR request process, ensuring that all requests are logged, communicated to relevant internal stakeholders and response provided in a timely fashion.
- Perform cost benefit analysis to make sound financial judgment.
- Enhance implemented metrics and methodology to measure Sponsorships & CSR programs.
- As/when required by Manager Sponsorships & CSR, to manage special projects through effective project management plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute in formulating and executing the long-term and mid-term Global Sponsorship & CSR Strategy which supports and is in-line with the overall communications strategy.
- Develop effective initiatives as platforms to expand and enhance QR brand globally.
- Evaluate all potential & CSR opportunities/threats and provide recommendation in the best interest of the organisation.

**Qualifications**:
About you
- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
- University degree in marketing/communications or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of job-related experience required
- At least 5-8 years' experience managing and executing strategies
- Strong project management skills
- Strong product and brand experience

Preferred
- Agency management experience — ability to guide international and internal people and agencies to implement agreed plans
- Travel and/or airline industry experience is a plus
