Resource Allocator Cargo

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for resource allocation (on shift basis) Cargo and Baggage Transport team including the Cargo and Baggage Transport Agents to provide quality services to internal and external customers as well as maintain on time performance of Cargo and Baggage drivers during operations. To ensure that the movement of staff is fit to the demand and maximize operational performance along with the recoding of any manpower issues.
You will also be responsible for but not limited to:
- Responsible to highlight to all required business areas when there is any manpower /GSE shortage in order to make the best available plan for optimization of Staff / GSE resources.- Coordinate with Zone Agents, Team Leads and Supervisors to ensure allocated staff are present in the area they have been directed too.- Monitor and announce flight arrivals over the radio ensuring all staff are aware of relevant information.- Allocate and monitor staff food breaks as per the operational requirements and document if any discrepancies.- Gather all Zone Agent check sheets for Officer to review.- Liaise with other QAS departments to identify any gaps in resource and back fill.- Allocate staff to undertake QICS / R&S training as per the company requirement on a daily basis.- Ensure all appointments received by the company are communicated to staff and provisions made that staff are released without affecting the operation.- Liaise with officers and LM to ensure trends identified in the operation are addressed in the building of rosters.- Provide a daily shift report encompassing all issues related to resources that occurred on the shift.

Qualifications
**About you**:
To be eligible for this role you should hold High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience; hold a valid Airport Vehicle Operation Permit (AVOP) & Qatari / Home Country Light Vehicle License and having knowledge of all areas of Cargo & Baggage Transport operation would be a distinct advantage.
You should have excellent communication with high proficiency in English skills both written and verbal, exceptional decision-making skills and Computer literate in all MS Office Applications i.e. Word, Excel & Access
