Job SummaryThe Assistant Hotel Receptionist Manager is responsible for overseeing the Front Desk operations and acting as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. This includes directing staff, welcoming and registering hotel guests, explaining accommodations, establishing credit or method of payment, checking guests out, preparing and explaining bills, and responding to a wide variety of guest requests.
You will craft the guest experience by connecting and understanding their needs, checking them in, assigning rooms, ensuring luggage and needs are in the room ready, and handling departures smoothly. You will also connect with guests to learn more about their stay and how their experience can be improved.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise Front Desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
- Welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations, and establish credit or method of payment
- Check guests out, prepare and explain bills, and respond to guest requests
- Craft the guest experience by understanding their needs and preferences
- Ensure smooth departures and handle any issues that may arise
- Degree Holder, preferably in hotel and restaurant management
- 2-4 years of experience in Front Office operations
- Excellent command of English, Arabic is an advantage
