Guest Service Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our Guest Experience department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience at our waterpark.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all operational areas of the Guest Experience department to ensure efficient and convenient guest entry and exit processes.
  • Support the arrival and departure process for the park, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for our guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell tickets and other products via our point of sale system, ensuring accurate handling of cash and credit transactions.
  • Manage queue lines and turnstiles to ensure guests can enter and exit the park with ease.
  • Ensure all departmental daily checklists and forms are completed accurately and on time.
  • Follow all Guest Experience department policies, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Handle guest complaints in a courteous and professional manner, providing service recovery as needed.
  • Facilitate ticket, cabana, towel, and locker sales and rentals, as well as collect payments and make change.
  • Maintain knowledge of ongoing promotions and company cash handling policies.
  • Upsell, cross-sell, and promote products and services to generate additional revenue.
  • Receive and record guest feedback, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Provide professional delivery of information via telephone and in person.
  • Conduct site tours as required and manage the lost and found counter according to company policy.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in a waterpark or related field.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Ticketing systems experience is an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages such as Arabic is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
